Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookies

Nothing says fall better than these Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookies. They’re filled with freeze dried apples coated in cinnamon and caramel bits. They come out of the oven soft, gooey and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 4 bags Brothers-All-Natural Apple Fruit Crisps
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
  • 2 cups Oats
  • 3/4 cups Brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon (ground)
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Caramel baking chips
  • 1/2 cup Confectioner's sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Step 2
Mix together brown sugar and butter until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla
Step 3
Stir in the remaining ingredients except the Confectioner's sugar, milk, and pinch of cinnamon. Note: You may crush the Fruit Crisps into small pieces if desired.

Drop onto cookie sheet by spoonful. Bake 9 - 12 minutes. Let cool

Icing
Step 5
Mix the Confectioner's sugar, milk, and pinch of cinnamon until smooth. With a spoon, drizzle the icing over the cookies.
