Ice cream can be a tough topic for those with dairy allergies, or those trying to eat clean or walk Paleo. This recipe should make things a bit easier this summer - a delicious treat that's also full of nutrients!
Ingredients
- 2 cups Brothers All Natural Freeze Dried Bananas
- 2-3 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- 1 can Chilled Coconut Milk
Note
When you serve this one, consider topping with a few fresh blueberries, dark chocolate chips or just a dab of coconut whipped cream.
Directions
Step 1 | |
Combine bananas and coconut milk in food processor or blender. | |

Blend for 30 seconds to a minute. Use a spoon to fold the chunks back into the mix. | |

Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the mixture is smooth. | |

Add cocoa powder by the tablespoon full to taste (2 1/2 Tbsp seems to be the magic number). | |
Step 5 | |
Continue to blend until the cocoa powder is well mixed. | |

Spoon mix into cups, then place cups into the freezer for 10-15 minutes to chill. |
