Apple Cinnamon Vanilla Breakfast Quinoa

Start the day full of energy with this apple cinnamon vanilla quinoa!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 bag Apple or Apple Cinnamon Freeze Dried Fruit
  • 1 cup Quinoa (rinsed and drained)
  • 2 cups Vanilla Almond or Vanilla Soy Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions

Step 1
Mix all the ingredients except for the freeze dried apples and put mixture into a pot on the stove.
Step 2
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat while continuing to stir to prevent burning. Reduce heat and cover 15-20 minutes until the liquid is absorbed.
Step 3
Remove from heat and stir in freeze dried apple. Allow to sit for a minute and sprinkle any freeze dried apple crumbs on top if desired.
