Breakfast Yogurt Bowl With Homemade Granola

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey, agave or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Yogurt Bowl

  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup freeze dried fruit of your choice (we recommend strawberries, peaches or bananas!)
  • 1 cup yogurt of your choice


Step 1
First, make the granola. Prepare by preheating the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Grab a medium sized bowl and place the oats, unsweetened coconut flakes, vegetable oil, honey, cinnamon and vanilla extract in it. Stir well to combine.
Step 3
Spread evenly onto a baking sheet, bake for 18 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

Now comes the fun part! Grab a small bowl and scoop your yogurt into it. Next, sprinkle on top the homemade granola and freeze dried fruit for a crispy, delicious topping! Feel free to add more toppings, such as chocolate bits or nuts.
